The Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador is proud to have Megan Reynolds and John Hogan as campaign co-chairs for the 2019 Newfoundland and Labrador general election.

Megan and John have been active members of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador for many years, during which time they have provided tremendous dedication and leadership. They are now helping chart the course of the Liberal Party campaign toward success in the 2019 provincial general election.

We thank Megan Reynolds and John Hogan for their commitment to our province and our Party. Below you will find a brief biography for each and media contact information.

Megan Reynolds

Megan Reynolds (Sheppard) is an Associate Lawyer with Benson Buffett who practices in the areas of commercial litigation and arbitration, construction disputes, shareholder disputes, insolvency and creditor priority litigation, and other general litigation. She has frequently appeared at all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador. Megan also advises on wills, estates and trusts matters.

Originally from Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL, Megan was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2015 following her graduation from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Memorial University. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and Club Secretary for the After Hours Rotary Club of St. John’s. Megan is also actively involved in the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador having recently co-chaired the 2018 Convention and is currently president of the St. John’s Centre District Association.

John Hogan

One of the founding partners of Wadden Peddigrew Hogan, over his career John has been entrusted by his clients because of his demonstrated success, extensive experience in court and his commitment to client satisfaction.

After graduating from Memorial University with a degree in biochemistry, John went on to graduate from law school at Dalhousie University. After being called to the bar in Ontario after articling with a large multi-service firm on Bay Street in Toronto, John returned to Newfoundland and Labrador and has been an active member of the bar in this province since 2005.

Giving back to his community has always been important to John and he has served as a board member with St. John’s Clean and Beautiful, MUN Childcare Centre, Wreckhouse International Jazz and Blues Festival, and the Memorial University Board of Regents. John is also involved in the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador where he has served as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer as well as Vice President. John is currently a Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador Bencher.
