Carol Anne Haley

Carol Anne Haley is a longtime resident of the Burin Peninsula. Born and raised in Point May, she has been heavily involved in the regional community for many years. Most recently, Carol Anne served as special assistant to Liberal MP Judy Foote. Prior to that position, she worked in the field of regional economic development as a community service officer/coordinator with the Greater Lamaline Area Development Association.
Carol Anne has served as a member of the advisory board for the Grand Bank Seamen’s Museum, a branch of The Rooms. She also served two terms on the Schooner Regional Development Corporation Board of Directors. She has been heavily involved in the Liberal Party from a young age, serving as the youth representative for the District of Grand Bank Liberal Association, then as area director and district president. More recently she was elected vice president of the provincial party.
In November 2015, she was elected to serve as MHA for the District of Burin – Grand Bank. She is a member of the Government Services Committee, the Striking Committee, and the Social Services Committee. She also serves as Caucus Whip. Carol Anne currently resides in Fortune.
