Mail-in Ballot

HOW TO FILL OUT YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT

Follow These Steps…

Step 1: Complete your Ballot

Print the NAME OF THE CANDIDATE or the name of the Candidate AND the political party of the candidate that you would like to vote for.

IMPORTANT: YOU CANNOT VOTE FOR JUST THE POLITICAL PARTY.

DO NOT MAKE ANY OTHER MARKS ON THE BALLOT, ESPECIALLY INTIALS. Doing so will result in your ballot bring rejected!

Step 2: Ballot Envelope

Place your completed ballot inside the BALLOT ENVELOPE and seal.

Step 3: Declaration Envelope

Place your sealed, BALLOT ENVELOPE inside the DECLARATION ENVELOPE and seal. COMPLETE AND SIGN the front of the envelope.

IMPORTANT: THE FRONT OF THE DECLARATION ENVELOPE MUST BE COMPLETED WITH SIGNATURE AND DATE.

If it isn’t signed, your ballot will be rejected!

Step 4: Return Envelope

Place your completed DECLARATION ENVELOPE in the self-addressed, Elections NL EXPRESS POST RETURN ENVELOPE, seal and mail.

IMPORTANT: THERE ARE DEADLINES FOR THE RETURN OF MAIL-IN BALLOTS.

Envelopes MUST be post marked on or before Friday, March 12th in order to be counted!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW…

There will be no in-person voting for this election in any of the 40 districts.
Completed voting kits MUST BE RETURNED to elections NL on or before Friday, March 12th.
