Why I’m Running in Your District of Topsail – Paradise

Dear Friends,

I grew up in Mount Pearl, lived in Paradise, and I’m currently living in CBS with my wonderful husband and children. My core family values of integrity, hard work, and overcoming challenges are similar to many in this district. I am a mom, a wife and an activist. My husband is a blue collar worker who has two jobs – we live pay cheque to pay cheque. I am a leader and a team player who believes and understands the need for positive change in the way forward.

Running for the Topsail – Paradise district is an incredible opportunity. It’s a chance to listen to you and work with you, to build resilient communities. This district is ideal for young families, entrepreneurs and outdoor enthusiasts. Its home to serene walking trails, diverse infrastructure and promising growth. It combines a rural and urban setting, offering the very best of both worlds; encouraging individualism and togetherness.

My passion and perseverance has sparked change throughout our country. I will bring that same passion and strength of character as your MHA. Your voice, ideas, and beliefs are important. Whether you’re a small business owner, a single parent, a young graduate looking for a job, a trades-person, stay at home parent, or a senior – I am committed to working for you.

As MADD Canada National President our team worked to strengthen impaired driving laws across the country and fight against all forms of impaired driving.

Together we are embarking on a journey to further strengthen this district. I’m here to listen and take your concerns to the table. Thank you for your support as I embark on this exciting new endeavor to be your MHA for Topsail – Paradise.

Sincerely,
Patricia Hynes-Coates
