Special Ballot Voting Begins for Windsor Lake By-Election

If you live in the District of Windsor Lake you can now vote any day of the week. Why wait until September 20 to vote?

Special ballot voting is intended to enable as many people as possible to vote in an election. This is important when you consider that many people have already made plans and may be indisposed on election day September 20, 2018. By showing up at one of the returning offices you can complete a special ballot kit and vote in-person. Special ballot kits can be obtained up until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018. The deadline to complete and return the kit is 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2018.

Special Ballot: What You’ll Need To Vote

A basic requirement is that your provide proof of your identity. The basic options are:

  • a drivers license with your current Windsor Lake address; or
  • a utility bill that includes your name and current address.

If you do not have some form of identification there are other options. If you’d like help with completing your special ballot and do not have identification you can give the Paul Antle campaign a call and they’ll help you out. Call 551-8120 or visit www.paulantle.ca.

You can complete your special ballot kit at the Windsor Lake District Office or the Elections NL Heaquarters.
