St. John’s, NL – The Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador has officially launched its provincial election campaign, focused on building a stronger province through opportunity, growth, and leadership.
Surrounded by his family, candidates and supporters, Premier Hogan shared his vision for a future that is safe, hopeful and fair for everyone.
Our province has an unprecedented opportunity with the new Churchill Falls agreement — a historic deal that will deliver billions in new revenue, create thousands of jobs, and secure Newfoundland and Labrador’s energy future. This will allow for stronger health care, more affordable living, safer communities, improved schools and infrastructure, and long-term financial stability.
The Liberal Party is also committed to growing the economy across industries such as oil and gas, mining, the fishery, tourism, technology, and the arts, ensuring every community benefits from our province’s resources. The Churchill Falls expansion, Gull Island and Bay du Nord projects are proof that Newfoundland and Labrador has what Canada and the world needs.
With a strong and dedicated team of candidates, including mayors, community leaders, health care professionals, tradespeople, entrepreneurs, and experienced MHAs, the Liberal Party reflects the best of Newfoundland and Labrador and is ready to continue delivering results.
Newfoundlanders and Labradorians will head to the polls on October 14, 2025.
This election, the Liberal Party is offering Real Momentum. Real Energy. Real Leadership.
