Call For Interest – Executive Board Positions
The Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador is currently looking to fill two (2) Executive Board vacancies:
- Northern Regional Director
- Western Regional Director
Regional Director
The roles and responsibilities of Regional Director includes, but are not limited to:
- Attending the meetings of each Provincial Liberal District Association contained within the boundaries of the region for which the Regional Director has been elected;
- Liaising between the District Associations in the Region and the Executive Board of the Party;
- Assisting District Associations with their organization and governance;
- Encouraging and supporting District Associations with their fundraising efforts;
- Reporting to the Executive Board of the Party no less than quarterly on the status of District Associations within the Region;
- Carrying out such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the President of the Party or the Executive Board.
To be eligible to apply for the role of Regional Director, you must be a Registered Member of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador, and currently reside in one of the following districts:
Northern Regional Director:
Cartwright – L’Anse Au Clair
Labrador West
Lake Melville
Torngat Mountains
Western Regional Director:
Burgeo – La Poile
St. George’s – Humber
Stephenville – Port au Port
Corner Brook
Humber – Bay of Islands
Humber – Gros Morne
St. Barbe – L’Anse aux Meadows
