| The Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador is looking for interested individuals to fill various positions on the following Standing Committees: Constitution and Legal Affairs The Standing Committee on Constitution and Legal Affairs will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and responsibilities of the Constitution and By – Laws of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Standing Committee will also be responsible for the oversight of any submissions of changes to the Constitution and By – Laws during an Annual General Meeting. Policy and Research The Standing Committee on Policy and Research will be responsible for bringing forward any policy ideas and suggestions to the Executive Board of the Liberal Party of NL. The Standing Committee will also be responsible for reviewing past submissions of policy to the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador and to provide an update to the Executive Board on policies that have been implemented thus far. The Standing Committee will also review any policy submissions to the Liberal Party of NL during an Annual General Meeting. Communications and Public Relations The Standing Committee on Communications and Public Relations will be responsible for developing a Communications plan that will be implemented through the Liberal Party office. The Standing Committee will also review best practices for social media to improve the presence of the Liberal Party of NL on social media. The Standing Committee will work collaboratively with the Executive Committee to find best practices to connect with the Membership on a yearly basis. Finance The Standing Committee on Finance will be chaired by the sitting Treasurer of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Standing Committee will work with the Treasurer and develop a fundraising strategy to present to the Executive Board for the Liberal Party of NL. The Standing Committee will be responsible to work with the Treasurer on best practices for the annual budget for the Liberal Party of NL.
