The Newfoundland and Labrador Women’s Liberal Commission (NLWLC) works to ensure the equal participation of women in all activities of the Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador (LPNL), including as candidates for election to the House of Assembly.
The NLWLC does this by offering educational sessions and networking opportunities for women, as well as by promoting and supporting policies related to women, and advancing the interests of women within the Liberal Party.
Currently, the NLWLC has openings on its Executive Committee for the position of Vice President1 and Secretary2.
There are also openings for the position of Chair on three standing committees with the NLWLC: Member Engagement3, Policy and Research4, and Strategic Development5. These three Chairs and the five-member Executive Committee form the Executive Board of the NLWLC.
Additional members of the Standing Committees will be appointed once the chairs are selected.
If you’re interested in any of these positions, please email [email protected] on or before Wednesday, February 16, and provide your name, address, the position for which you are applying, and a short explanation of your background and interest in that role.
