Party President John Allan is pleased to announce that the Call for Nominations for Leadership Candidates in the Party’s Leadership Election Process is now open. Nominations shall remain open until March 6, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. (NST). The Leadership Convention will take place May 8-9, 2020 in St. John’s where we will announce the next Leader of the Liberal Party on May 9, 2020.
The 2020 Leadership Election will follow a similar process that the Liberal Party established in 2013.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The media availability will now be held at The Capital Hotel, 208 Kenmount Rd, St. John’s, NL in Salon C on Monday, February 24 at 12:00 p.m.
